The Idea
In 2014, Friday Simbiri — then an ICT student at Teem Development Center College in Zomba — envisioned a messaging platform built specifically for Malawians. The idea was simple: a locally-owned app that truly understood the local user.
Building from Scratch
With limited resources but unlimited determination, Friday built Kucheza App from the ground up. Every line of code, every design decision, and every feature was crafted with the Malawian user in mind.
Growing Strong
Over the years, Kucheza App has gone through major updates and improvements to meet the demands of modern communication — evolving from a simple concept into Malawi's most innovative messaging platform.
